Did you oil it daily? I just bought a Milwaukee power drill and the impact driver s***. I was going to buy a makita but y'all convinced me to get Milwaukee

Try oiling your tools bruh. Lol
We oiled at least 3 times a day, they were practically bathed in oil. Granted they were being used 24/7, I still expected a little more longevity.

Which model? Lol I have several IR that have been good for years. One is well over 15 years old
Mainly these two:

This one was the worst for needing constant rebuilds.

This one wasn't as bad, but after a month it would loose a ton of power and start leaking air from the seals.

I'm sure for normal use they are great. We were impacting 24/7 and working them right at their limits, plus they're getting dropped, banged around, etc. However they were the industrial variants and were not cheap, the 3/4in was over $1500 a gun, so I can't say I was satisfied with their quality.

What impact would even be good for 24/7 use? I'm not falling into the snap-on shit

I don't know, I bought it off of amazon back in June and it just recently broke. Plus it didn't have as much torque capacity as this one, I only got steelman because it doesn't break the bank and ALL my coworkers use it.

Really? Shit, I'll go tomorrow to see if they can replace it so I can have an extra torque wrench at home.
