Hi there..

I have
1991 Integra
A/T
B18A1

I have a problem..
Im going to make a new paint job and i have the car stopped a few weeks to disassemble...

Today i out the car working for about 20 minutes...
Everything ok... No noises... No high temperature... No error in the ECU..
Nothing...
Worked about 20 minutes...
Then turn the engine off...

Passed about 2 hours...
I go again to start the engine to take out of the garage to the truck to go to the workshop...

Turn the key again... No ECU error... Nothing...
The battery is ok..
But the car won't start
:???::???:
I turn the key and i hear a click but the engine doesn't even turn...

Can be possible that the starter gripped????

I appreciate any help if possible ...

Thanks...

Hit it with hammer while somebody cranks it. Check your grounds to it and check the engine ground. If not yeah your starter probably seized. easy way to check. Pull it, run ground wire and power off a spare battery. If it spins it's fine.

Hello.
Thanks for the tip fowler.j.12

After a few hours i put the battery on place and the car started...
With some effort.. but started...

:shock::shock:

Before this battery showed 8,6v +/- on the first time..

After a few minutes maybe 10m or 15m,
I measured the battery with car working..

Without acceleration shows a total of 11,6v
When i accelerate the engine shows around 13,0v - 13,6v

Maybe new brushes on the alternator?
And the starter maybe need to swap the brushes too?
It's better if i do that...
Yes?

The alternator and the starter have aspect that they have a few years....

I spoke with a friend and he told me but no certainty
That exist alternators that have an electronic circuit to avoid power surge and that could be it too..
Is there any circuit?
I searched but i found nothing on this,
But...
Confused with this.....

Best Regards.
