Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone could give me some directions or suggestions on how to replace an alternator on my 1990 teg. I dont want to send it to a shop cuz its too much money for me at the moment and i got tons of stuff to pay lol. Thanks!

Undo the bolts for it. One on top, one on bottom.
Jack the car up and look at the axle, there is a bracket with three bolts attaching it to the engine, unbolt it.
Wiggle the shaft a little and you should be able to pull the alternator past it.
Push it back in and put the bolts in.
If transmission fluid leaks out, and it most likely will, be sure to top it off before you drive.

It's because I have no life, and for some reason I have a really messed up sleep schedule. So my nights are spent on the forum lol.

No one says this sort of thing and I don't always think I'll need it, but . . throw some old towels over your fender to protect the paint and give you padding when you are literally reaching so far into your engine bay for leverage and reach that your feet sometimes leave the ground.

good luck
