Found a b20 with a hmo stamp guy is asking 500 says he got it with 20k to 30k then put about another 10k on it. Opinions? I'm thinking that's a little hi for unknown miles and condition or is that a good deal?

It's cheap if it runs good, but buying motors will always be sketchy. Try bumping the starter and listening for Knocks.

If you're buying from Craigslist pull a bearing or something.. don't just buy it on HIS word. Disassemble it as far as you need to.

Well the idea was get the block, rebuild and do a mild build on it so I'm not to worried on condition. But I do have a ls head laying around so I think I'm gonna look for a short block instead
