Raceline USA
Hey everyone!

It's finally time to go back to the SoCal track junkie favorite: Buttonwillow Racway Park! Who's ready to hit the track and have a good time?!

Having a successful 2011 season, Raceline USA will expand our activities to include more events for the 2012 season. More road courses, more challenges and more fun. It will be exciting as we introduce our new B+, Club205, and Type R/Roadster Challenge Series to challenge our clients that do not wish to spend a lot of money to compete with other drivers.

Open track is the easiest way to learn how to control your vehicle at the limit. Beginner driver should not be afraid of being on track with others on the road course. We have 5 run groups of varying skill level for our clients to feel safe and confident. As our clients hone in their abilities, they also have to opportunity to move up in levels. Each level is on the road course for 20 minutes a session and is rotated from Level 5 down to Level 1. There is plenty of track time for all to enjoy.

B+ Series by DC Sports:

This is a chance for lower powered cars to participate in a challenge series. Everyone that has a timing transponder (may be rented from Raceline) is automatically entered. Track times are taken from the Level you signed up for. B+ is the cheapest way to have a friendly competition between drivers in a non-racing, non-contact way. Drivers just run the course normally in our sessions and we take their best time throughout the day. No special run groups or qualifying time to meet. Just go out and do your best.
Class is based on weight to power ratio with a twist. Weight in lbs. divided into horsepower and torque average to be no less than 18:1

Example: 2000 lbs. divided by 110 which is an average of 120hp and 100tq = 18.18:1

thinking about attending this, would be my first track event. Do we need helmets or anything?

Can borrow a motor cycle helmet from a friend, that'll be sufficient?

If I'm able to get my car retuned before this event there's a good chance I'll head out.

I guess it's a talent of mine. If I can drive half as well as I can piss people off, I should be tip top next month. I just really need to condition myself. I can't have another experience like we did at West Coast Nationals =/
