Radio help!?

Ok so im puting back a stock stereo on my GSR...
i connect it it turns on i put the code i put in a cd and Theres no SOUND...
I dont know whats wrong with it..
someone told me that it was burnt the part that sends the sound to the speakers?
but i dont belive him hes my brother!

i got the right code i had to re connect the stock hardness to the cut wires that i had and it turn on but like i said no sound someone please help!!

wait... you don't believe your brother..? maybe the stock harness wires are bad... did you check all the wiring, seeing if they needed replacing..?

All the cables seem good.

i tried connecting a speaker right from the harness by pulling the radio out and connecting it by splicing the wire and i connect the (-) wire and then the (+) i hear like a lil static for like a second and goes alway

sounds bad but check your power source and ground

My radio turns on and everything it works fine

but no sound what do you mean check the power?
