Radio won't work!

Okay so i replaced my stock radio with a aftermarket one and for some reason it wont work when the car is started. Can someone please help me? I have checked for a loose wire and fuses.

Do you have everything connected right? Im guessing you have the right harness i hope.

Yes i have the right harness and the wires connected right. it will only play when the key is turned once but when its started it wont play or turn on.

mine did the same thing i put the red and yellow together and it works fine now

Yeah but that runs the battery down doesn't it?
