random muffler?

okay so today i found a muffler from a few years ago on a civic that i bought and the engine blew shortly after, i took off some parts and scraped the rest. i was looking at this muffler and just got the idea to put it on my exhaust to my 01 ls 2dr. now i have no idea what brand this is, its a 2.25 inlet with 3.5 outlet, and i looked through it and it doesnt really look like it has a real 3.5 outlet it just kind of gets a little bigger and its almost like the part that 3.5" is kind of a finish to the muffler like they do on the stock hondas nowadays but bigger. guess im just asking if it will be okay to put it on for laughs, for looks, and maybe for a little noise, i plan on building my exhaust peice by peice. so will it hurt to throw it on?

have a picture of it? the worse i could see is it sounding horrible.

It shouldn't do anything bad, but it won't give any gain aside from noise and looks.

I wouldnt run anything that looks like a coffee can muffler. It is going to sound terrible IMO
