rebuild

Hey I just found this engine block. Its much cheaper than if i did an engine swap, but what else would i need for this engine rebuild? can anyone recommend me good brand for cams, valve springs, gaskets, heads, rods, and pistons? im hearing good things about brian cowler, skunk2, and ARP. there anything else id be missing if i ordered only the things i mentioned?

darton blocks are for super high powered aplications...you can rebuild a motor for cheaper or find a swap for cheaper. You still need to tune that motor.

New bearings, all the fasteners, gaskets etc. What shape are the cams, valves in?

um no idea atm. I just got my hands on a honda manual and im learning up as much as i can but i have so much advice from so many different ppl that my head is spinning. I just want to know EXACTLY what i need to perform an engine rebuild(performance). Target: 300hp

NA or FI?

if its FI you just need a crate motor gsr, and a turbo
if its NA you need a lot of money

Na= naturally aspirated no? dunno wat FI means but i know that its already turboed boosting 10 psi and its got a t3/t4 turbo in it from turbonetics. i think its a NA

NA is all motor.

you can get 300whp from your ls probably

the leak down and compression tests are free unless you cant do them on your own- autozone rents the tools
