Releying ignition cylinder?

Recently my car was stolen and they fubard (fucked up beyond repair) my ignition cylinder to the point where I can't turn the car from the on postion. Is it cost effective just to get a cylinder from the junk yard and have it rekeyed?

Yeah but then you'll have two keys for your car (ignition vs doors/trunk). To get them all done might be similar in price to ordering a new key cylinder. Not sure if it comes with all the wires or if you'll have to solder them on.

Put an alarm on that bitch.

find one near you, have em give you a quote so you have 1 key for all cylinders.
