Replacement bulbs. Xenon, or led?

Im saving up for an hid kit but in the meantime i was wondering which replacement bulb would be the better one? I want a bright bluish color hid look, & found there are led headlights as well. So what do you guys recommend? Just to be clear im aiming foor good visibility, clarity, & a nice blue color kind of like 6k.

I have silverstar ultra's....they're lovely! You may forget about wanting HID's. There's a step even above the ultra's now that they sell...I dont remember what it's called.

I heard the Phillips diamond somethings are good but i want to see how they look before i buy em.
