Reusable oil filter?

Anyone ever heard of a reusable oil filter? Would you use one?

nope, since filters are $5 theres no need to buy

Similar concept to the fuel filters that you replace the filter in, not the whole assembly. I dont understand how you would "clean" the filter inside this. I figure it would be better to just put in a new oil filter insert.

If it was easy to clean, it might be neat in terms of less waste, more eco friendly...
