rewiring fog lights switch

how do i get my fog light to come on when i want them to. i have bought a seperate switch but dont want a bunch of wires every where. can anyone help me?

You don't need a new switch. You can use your existing fog light switch and wire it into one of your free slots on your fuse box. Do a quick search for how to do it, and which free slot to use. That's the safer way to do it. Other ways will tell you to splice into say your rear defrost switch, which could potentially put too much load on the wiring causing it to overheat and melt, potentially causing a fire.

Dude, it takes litterally 2 minutes!!!

You take 1 wire from the fog switch, tap it into a wire on the defroster switch. And you're done.

well i tookj the time to look at diffrent recommendations and went with the rear defroster splice and it works well. i did test all wires for over loads first and im happy to say that all is well. Thanks to all that commented!!
