Running rich, Vaccum Leak

Okay, so I installed the skunk2 intake mani on my car. Now i am running hella rich, lots of smoke coming from the exhaust and it smells like fuel. Also i am idling high 2.5k and after a bit it jumps from 1-2k. Is the reason im dumping so much fuel cuz of the broken injector tips? please help. I really want to drive my car again. Thanks.

Well if they are broken, I would probably replace them regardless. Idling high sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Maybe you left something out or something broken when installing the intake manifold. Find a vacuum leak by either connecting a smoke machine, if you know anyone that has one, or pump propane to the areas you think may be leaking and if you hear a jump in the rpms, you found the leak. Did you put your stock TB on new manifold, or use the one that came with manifold?

The person you bought it from couldve had cams and had the idle screw turned up a little to get a smooth idle.

Did you forget to install the throttle body gasket?
