Security on my car but I have no remote

Okay so I have a security system on my 97 integration LS and I don't have a remote. It already had a system when I bought it so my question it, how do I find out what security system is on it? Any help is highly appreciated

Stick your head under the dash on the driver side and look for a black rectangular box with alot of wires coming out of it, it will have the make and model of it

Would that be a stock security system or aftermarket and about how big is it

Thanks. Found it. It's a python model #1000. Are they any good?
