Short shifter install, help

i am installing a short shifter and my bolts on my linkage that is by the shifter is rusted to hell, should i just drill them out and put new ones in or what???

If you do "cut that shit" make sure to tack the new bolts onto the bracket otherwise it will be a bitch to get the nuts back on and tight.

alright thats what i was wondering. should i just cut them from the bottom and then push them up thru.

try and break them with a ratchet and if not you need to drill em out
