short shifter installation

i just bought a short shifter for my car and i was wondering if it would be hard for me to install myself. Also, does anyone know how to do it?

its very easy
pull off the knob
lift the car
unbolt the old one very simple
atach the new one in the same maner the old one was attached don't over tighten
(it won't shift if u do)
lower the car and put on a new or old knob

yeah it is that simple.

make sure some one guides the shifter through your boot or it could puncture a hole through it.

dont forget, it'd help a lot if you dropped the exhaust (where the header meets the cat) and remove the 1st set of exhaust hangers!!

question: how much easier would it be if the exhaust is dropped? i kinda want to avoid that...but i'm hearing different responses of how much easier it is when its dropped

honestly it's not that hard. i got mine done in less time than if i would have taken the time to take apart the exhaust but yes it gives u more room to move around
