Hello Again,

According to ngksparkplugs.com the Gap for the NGK PFR6G-11 spark plugs is 0.044" for the 1998 USDM B18c ITR. I have a 1998 JDM B18c ITR motor. If I used the NGK PFR7G-11 spark plugs would I also gap them to 0.044"? The difference betwern the USDM B18c and JDM is USDM is 10:1:0 compression and JDM is 11:1:0 compression. Thank you in advance for any posts!

Yes the gap requirement is the same, regardless of plug. The factory service manual lists a gap of .043" for the B18C5
The difference between the two plugs is heat range. You want to stick with the stock heat range unless you are making significantly more heat in the cylinder than stock (ie forced induction).

thanks! So its okay to use the 7 heat range on my JDM b18c? since its what the jdn version calls for whereas the b18c5 usdm calls for 6?
