speedometer cable

While i was changing my bulbs in my cluster i broke my speedo cable from yanking it way too hard.

Notice the white clip broke off the cable.

I pulled the cable from transmission already, and i was just wondering if its okay driving around without it hooked up?

I got school then gotta pick upp the parts from the dealership tomorrow.

yes just the speedometer cable. i unhooked it from the transmission.

I didn't think you needed a tip lol. It like screws into the cluster and then just pushes into the transmission doesn't it? A clip holds it in.
