sputtering/misfire issues

Hey whats up peeps, I just bought a 1993 integra, bought it with the sputtering or misfire problem, I already changed the plugs,wires, dizzy cap and rotor but the issue is still there, any help would be great

Do you have any cel codes at all? More info would be helpful.

Are you getting oil on the plugs?

When you changed the spark plugs and stuff did you notice any oil inside? If so change you VC gasket & tube seals.

Love when people describe an issue as something like a "Sputtering or Misfire" problem like there is a common cayuse and we should know how to help...

OP there are a number of things that can cause this besides the ignition system...

Timing
Bad o2 sensor
plug wires in wrong order
failing coil
failing distributor
bad ground

I could go on, but hell I wouldn't want to completely disassembling your motor chasing "could bees"

what are the exact conditions when you have said misfire... is it present when the motor is cold, is it worse when the motor is warmed up...

have you recently tried to adjust timing?
