I shifted hard from 1st to 2nd and broke my pressure plate somehow because it still grabs fine but the clutch pedal has less resistance. Its a cable operated clutch and the spring behind the pedal inside the car is okay so im assuming its the clutch pressure plate springs.
Anyways...
I have a stock B18 in my integra. Im going to replace the clutch, i have a stage 2 clutch disc that is unused, can i buy an OEM clutch kit and use the pressure plate with my stage 2 clutch disc? What will the reliablity be like?, also, will my pressure plate break again from having a stage 2 disc? Will the pressure plate be okay with hard shifts and a stage 2 disc?
