Hi guys, 3 questions. First, do i ahve to put silicon around the thermostat gasket? Second, does the IACV have anything to do with the car starting up properly because everytime i start it its at very low rmp and steadily rises and sometimes it doesnt want to start? Third, does coolant go thru the IACV because im losing coolant and my temp gauge sometimes goes up when my car is idling then i press on the gas in nuetral and slowly goes down? any help would be appreciated thank you.

clean your IACV
it controls your idle at start, do you have an OBD1 or OBD2 car?

OBD1 your FITV is clogged i wrote a DIY on h ow to clean it
IACV is for OBD2 while the car is warming up

coolant goes through both
