I agree with you totally. What I'm trying to say above is that altitude does not have as big an effect on a turbo engine as it does on the natural racer--it still does but the natural racer really feels it. This phenomenom was most felt by the Honda JGTC race team. On the hi elevation courses like those around Fuji, they noticed their hard charging NSX's were having problems keeping up with the turbo powered GTR's and JZA80's. They were down as well, but the natural racers got the short end of the stick. On lower elevation courses like Honda's very own track, the NSX's were running great times on par with the other turbo cars.

ran a 14.8 in my 94 GSR w/ only simple bolts (i/h/e.)

they aren't slow...they just aren't fast. lot comes down to drivers too tho, so thats going to skew the numbers a lot.
