Stock b18b and high revs

Whats up guys, I just recently bought a bone stock 96 LS with 99k. I'm loving the car so far and its a big upgrade in the fun category from my previous car, a 2001 Acura RL. I have plans for mods but it's gonna be mostly stock for the forseeable future.

Question about it. I live in an area with a lot of twisties and the car gets driven accordingly, spending a decent amount of time in the mid and upper rpm range. However I've read stuff like the b18b is not a "high revver" and other stuff about breaking down the bottom end. Is this more directed towards those trying to increase rpm above the stock fuelcut? Or should I be worried about wearing down my engine? Obiouvsly the ls engine is not set up for performance and high rpm like the b18c but I'm not like bouncing off the fuel cutoff on every gear for 5 hours.
