help is greatly appreciated!

i have 2 more questions:
1.) to adjust the cam gears, i don't actually touch the cam gears directly but instead turn the crank counterclockwise?
2.) is it not good to turn the crank counterclockwise when the timing belt is not on?

if you have adjustable cam gears, you loosen the bolts on the gears and turn them with a 14mm. you can turn the crank counterclockwise as much as you want, as long as you put it back to tdc when the belt goes on.

If you dont have the experience to change a timing belt, you probably shouldnt be adjusting your cams. Let someone who knows what they are doing help you. Or at the least guide you through the process.
