the jackass i sold my fish tank today was annoying the hell out of me. asked me to meet at target near my house and then drives 20 mins past the target to the one on the other side of the city and calls me all pissed asking where i was at an if i was coming. then after giving him directions again to where i was and told him i was in the back OF the parking lot he then drives to the ally behind the store and once again calls me pissed asking where i was. finally after telling me to park and ill come find him he tells me hes in a chevy silver van which wasnt even close to what he was in. it was a oldsmobile gold colored van. thanks to him i was 20 mins late to meeting up with another guy from a local honda forum for a complete cylinder head who was also pissed cuz i took to long. oh then lost 55 at the casino! fantastic day today was.......not :(

The worst is when they don't show up and you call them and they say never mind, they not coming anymore. That happened to me twice.

douche bags that sell you a 96 eclipse saying there's nothing wrong with it.
getting 12 miles down the road, having it break down. having the state police tow it away
pay $200 you don't have to have it taken out of impound to drive it 6 more miles for it to break down
again, then having the mechanic telling you it needs over $5,000 into it before its even drive able.

f craigslist cars lol.

it was a few years ago, but I'm still upset by it.

the mechanic bought the car from me for $300 and cursed out the guy who sold it to me though

Didn't you drive it before you bought it?

Sounds like you need to test drive and inspect cars better before buying them. It also sounds like your mechanic was bending you over and railing you with no lube. $5000? That's what- a new transmission and motor? I bet he bought it for $300 and put a $100 distributor on it.

I'm here to rant. Another "should I boost" thread: http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=73252

Really? Jay added the suggested topics before people submit a new post and were still getting people who probably barely know how to change their oil, who want to do work thats way over their head. If people want a fast car, why do they buy integras? Granted the b series motor is a beast and hondas are some of the easiest cars to learn and work on, but if your going to pay someone to do all the work, and don't know squat, why not buy a 240 or an mr2 or mustang. All three can be had for under 3k in decent condition and are already decently quick for what they are stock.

So what annoys me? People who know little to nothing who will make no contribution on this site, that want to be spoon fed information on how to make their POS faster so they can go street race it like a genuine tool and raise my insurance due to the demographic of teen male drivers, all on mommy and daddy's money.

Nathan- I know what you mean. I've said it before and i'll say it again..

Parents buy their kids an Integra because it's a nice looking car- that's slow and affordable.
And kids like it because it's a nice looking car- that they think is fast.

So you have to deal with a bunch of people new to cars. -_-

It's the same on ClubCivic. Looking back if I didn't join that forum I would have a body kit on my car  my first post was asking about the quality of a body kit. Then within a week I was shown the light of a drop, lip, and wheels.

clubcivic is way worse than here!!! i dont think anyone that has a truly riced out car has stuck around on here (depending on what mood Kris is in, he'll argue that his car is rice lol <3 ) turbos are the new body kits. Everybody wants one, wants it done fast, and wants it cheap.
