Throttle Body worth it? ~Details Within~

96 LS with I/H/E

Looking at getting a Skunk2 70mm throttle body

Question: Is there a noticeable difference when adding a throttle body after you have I/H/E?

I just need some opinions from people with experience in adding a throttle body.

(I know I will need to port the stock intake manifold)

It will only make a difference if you have a lot of head work done(porting, VT upgrade, cams, etc.). So to answer your question, no it is not worth it for an LS especially with no real motor work done. No bolt ons really make a significant difference. Especially without a tune.

To me bolt ons are for sound/looks without a tune and engine upgrades like nick stated.

tb is such a small small part of the equation and you shouldnt even be thinking about it til you have heavier mods. Its one of those near final touches.

I've been gathering and installing basic parts like I/H/E, suspension, ect... for when I do my B18C ITR swap here after graduation so that is the reason for me asking if I should wait or just go ahead and get it out of the way.
