Timing and oil consumption questions.

That’s not smoke. That’s condensation. Oil smoke wouldn't dissipate so quickly and is usually has a blueish tint to it. If you do have excessive oil consumption this little test proved that it’s not from reving but likely from during hard deceleration, ie in vacuum, another words its likely valve guides & seals.

This is what oil looks like when its being pulled past the oil seals during engine decel.

I wish I could get a video of the car actualy being driven. When I drive I can smell oil, and its super strong, and at times I can see it blowing smoke in the mirror.

Have someone drive next to you and decelerate in gear together see if the oil smoke comes out like mine.
