Timing belt Question

I changed mine out at 100,000 and some change along with the water pump and hoses and fluids. If the belts let go the damage could be 5x the cost

i got about 92k on mine and i gotta change it soon. im definately goin wiht the toda timing belt though. ill spend the extra money for the added safety and performance they have

typically how much will it cost to change a timing belt if i took it to a mechanic?

wow wtf i thought it was around $300 with everything..... well i live in houston maybe somewhere else it cost more.

yeah a week after i started the original thread. about $130 worth of OEM equipment about 6hrs of labor since it was my first time and thats all i spent.
