Timing belt snapped

My timing belt snapped while I was on the highway. The bottom end still seems to be fine because it still cranks and has compression and none of my rods are bent. What are my chances for my head not being fucked up?

It depends. What was your p2v clearance? You could have possibly bent a valve if one kissed a piston

Idk to be honest. I'll probably just have to pull the head and look at it. Can I pull the valve cover and look that way without ripping the head all apart? I really don't want to do that if I don't have to.

Didnt you just reply to another tbelt broke thread?
90% of the time you are fine.
No contact unless the big lobe is engaged.

No sir I didn't lol.
When you say big lobe, do you mean VTEC? If that's the case I should be ok because I'm non VTEC.

Do a leak down test if you want to know if you bent a valve.
Its probably fine, just replace the tbelt.

Mine was fine when it snapped. Changed the belt and the water pump and drove it after work the next day

Did a leak down and compression test today. 260 psi across all cylinders and she passed the leakdown test with flying colors. Gates racing timing belt will be here next Monday. I got lucky as fuck you guys.
