toe bolt retaping sucks.. any suggestions

any suggestions on fixing this the threads are striped.. I'm scared of tapping it bigger because of the lack of metal around the slider

get the slider cut out and replaced... you will have to cut a small window underneath it

Use the bolt to determine the size of the tap you need to use. Do you have a tap kit?

I was thinking about that to... And just use a nut and washer for the slider mechanism..

so I cut a small hole now I'm thinking about just getting a longer bolt and putting a nut behind it so it will crank down...
