Who has used non honda ATF in their slush box LS trannys? Mine is shifting hard throughout all gears cold or hot. It used shit hard only when cold. I know there's some reputable oil companies out there that say their ATF is specially formulated for imports including Hondas for about $5 less a quart than honda ATF. So who's used something other than honda ATF and what were your results?

Motorcraft mt-x5-qs
Mobil 1 synthetic 75w-90
And recently tried Amsoil

I don't think any of those are cheaper than Honda MTF but they work good.

Honda mtf should be cheap, how much are you trying to save?

I need honda ATF it's about 11/qt here in Florida.. I just wanna do it as cost efficient as possible lol
