throw out bearing or input shaft bearing?
theres a nasty noise coming from my tranny
grind/rattle type of shit...
at first i only noticed it when i was in neutral, but now that i take a closer listen, its in pretty much all the gears as well...
the noise only seems to go away once the i press on the cluth, and as soon as i let go it immediatly comes back
sounds to me like a bad throwout bearing.
but iv been told that its my input shaft bearing.
i really have no idea.
can someone please give me some useful info?
will this ruin my tranny?
i recently installed stage 2 cluth with lightweight flywheel, will that be effected in anyway?
...any idea of how much it would cost to get either or both of them replaced?
anything else it might be?????
