Transmission fluid question

I put in 1qt Castrol DEX/MERC transmission fluid along with some slick 50
fluid is still hardly reading on the stick.
now I see the stick says Dexron . It still needs more fluid The next qt should be Castrol for Honda??
The radiator is coming out in a few days should I just drain it then.
Trany seems to work ok as it is.
The car also has a lot of resonating inside when stopped in gear
seems like the loudest place is in the car when its at idle.
What should I be looking for. It idles around 750 mabie lower

no its a temporary fix.

well since you referenced the radiator im gonna guess yours is an automatic. completely drained(including the TC being drained.) it holds 6.7 of whatever valume of measurement lol ill update this soon.

running less fluid can cause clutch pack failure and other problems. overfilling will cause ariation and in my case severe leaks(im fixing all the things the former owner fucked up)

notice the two dots on the stick. remember the bottom mark is clod(75 degrees normally) and the top mark is warm and thats just at operating tempurature after being driven.

transaxle failure sucks trust me.

they suggest honda premium transmission fluid or DEX 2 so id go with honda.
