Hey guys, just bought a 01 Integra auto with 120k miles in pretty good shape, all stock except for the exhaust. The issue I'm having is that only first gear and second are working, when the shifter is in d3 or d4 it stays in second but never goes into third or overdrive. The tranny fluid is good so I don't think that's the issue...
Also the car redlines at 5k, I don't think that is normal either, it's almost like the car isn't seeing that it's in gear so it's doing a low redline
Another issue is that the OBD2 is not communicating with my scanner... The pins look fine on the connector and I've tried 2 different scanners
I believe the speed sensor is bad because the speedometer does not work
Im kinda thinking that the ecu might be fried?
I've checked all fuses and everything checks out
Mechanically the cars looks to be in good condition, all these issues I'm having seem to be computer issues. If anyone has any knowledge/suggestions please let me know what you think. Thanks
