You might also want to have a wheel/bearing puller handy to help get the cogs and synchros off of the shafts.

mine didn't need to be rebuilt, we literally swapped everything but the fifth gear from the s80 transmission into my ys1 casing. only thing else we did was grind some ridges down. but yeah you'll probably need an impact to get the mainshaft nut off, and some heat. that thing can be a bitch.
