I need to do some work on my transmission. To avoid too much down time on one of my daily drivers, I was going to temporarily swap one from a junkyard. As long as it would run without too many problems, I wouldn't really care about it. My car is a 94 GSR and all I know of the junkyard unit is that it is a 94.
Can anyone tell me would it or would it not work in my car if the junkyard vehicle is in fact not a GSR?
And while I'm on the subject, I really only need to replace the synchros but since I'll be elbow deep in it anyway, what are some opinions about whether it would be worth it to do a complete rebuild?
