Turbo or what?

I have a friend who wants to install a turbo on his ls which has 140,000 miles on it & hasn't been rebuild. What do u guys think. Will it be ok.

What they said. those tests will give you a sence of the health of the motor. If it fails the either tests then it is not wise to strap on a turbo with out a rebuild.

I say just rebuild it from the get go and don't waste money on the test since I'm sure your friend will rebuild it anyway.

how much does a compression test cost? average/range...what price wud be too high?? anyone?
