I got new bumper lights for the teg, but upon installation I found that the outer light in both lamps was defective. Upon close inspection i found the plug for each bulb to be in crappy condition.
It looked like who ever i bought it from covered the light piece and the wired harness (shown above) in grease to discourage opening it. but I did anyway and found what is shown in the picture. It appeared to be filled with glue or something, but what ever it was it rendered the light useless.
Now I need to find that piece (the wired harness in the photo) so i can get the light to work again. Preferably splicing the wire that is currently in the car to a replacement piece.
If anyone can send me to a link or tell me what I'm looking for it would be much appreciated.
