Type R cluster problem

I installed the jdm type r cluster in my 94 gsr a couple days ago and everything works fine except the fuel gauge. Its showing im way bellow empty but yet i had just filled completely up. Is the wiring for that diferent than the stock one? any ideas?

could be a bad gauge switch it with your GSR one and switch needles

i had the same problem when i switch to a type r cluster and swithing that green film fixed for me

^^ mine was the temp guage, swapped it over and all works perfect

awesome thanks for the feedback. ill trying switiching that out when i get my car unburried from the snow tomorrow

bad gauge. my 94 plugged in and worked fine

I had the same problem! All you have to do is swap the gauge from your original cluster to your itr one. Make sure you swap the needle and the background. GL!
