Type R Strut Onto RS Question

Hey guys. So yesterday i picked up a stock type r strut bar from my buddy. I know that its just straight bolt on and everything, but in my RS' engine bay, there is not any bolts. There is just plastic moldings that seal the screw insert so i was just wondering.

A) How do i get them out?
B) What size of screw do i replace it with?

Mmmm.... I had to do this for my LS. What you'll need to do is take one of those plastic caps/ your front strut tower bar and make a visit to home depot. Try to get the best grade quality nuts and bolts you can. And for added measure I'd get some washer just to seal the deal. I kinda forgot the size though. So you just gotta play by ear.

looks like a 14mm x40...the thread pitch will be 1.0

just a wild guess...
