just read this and had a sad.

Apparently brake fluid has to be colorless or amber.

It's too bad people are really dumb thus why laws like this are passed. Every notice the "choking hazard" warning on almost every little package?! How about the kids who were eating the Detergent Pods thinking they were candy? Arg!

The reason they are doing it is for the dumbass mechanics that don't know anything - they like to keep fluids different colors so they don't put brake fluid in the transmission etc...

Perhaps in a few more years we will all be deemed too stupid to be allowed to even change our own brake fluid, we might mistakely put some in our cereal or the baby's bottle, so they'll ban that too.
