vapor canister removal

ill try not to sound too much like a noob...
ive decided i want to start cleaning up my engine bay and do some wire tucking. where i live (missouri) they dont do smog test or any kind of crazy emission test so i want to delete the vapor canister. i searched the site and couldnt find anything as to how to remove it or the cons of removing it. my main question is will it hurt anything to remove the canister?? and has anyone ever done a write up on this? i google searched and found one write up without pics and it was poorly written. any advice would be appreciated!

Well, mine is bypassed, but it was easy due to my tune eliminating the solenoid valve, and the skunk2 intake eliminating the lines
