if you do the carbon fiber trunk right, atleast for hatches you lose a significant amount of weight. Atleast 30 pounds. With plexi glass even more presubably. The metal and such from the oem hatch plus the rear wiper motor are extremly heavy so in the range of 30-35 pounds.
