If it's a B18B it would be from a 94 and up originally and could have been swapped into the 92 DA. Otherwise if it is the stock motor from a 92 it is a B18A
I second what heritage36 said, the motors are every where and tend to need the piston rings and valve seals replaced. It depends on the condition of the motor and tranny (watch out for 4th gear on a 2nd gen cable tranny with high miles having grinds or pop-outs), so with that said the max I'd pay is $600.
