yes but I haven't found a decent set with a good price.since you're asking for opinions.. I dont like any of them. I like the slipstream style, but the brand is questionable. pics of what you like + colors would be nice too
like?Buy something good. /opinion.
I am^x2. I like knowing what I own isn't fake or a replica. Browse craigslist for a good deal!
yeah looking for 0 offsetI'd look for something like a 15x8inch wheel, not anything with a stupid low offset.
What color is the car?
I have 501's on my car, I don't recommend them.. I got tired of them real fast.
exactly, wish I could be able to put 2000$ wheels but that's not going to happenI do too, especially the rota grid offroad. However, I came to the real wheel senses and looked into a set of Volk TE37SL. $2600. No thanks. Not on a car thats worth as much
as the wheels are
yeah I understand what your saying plus offset is good,0 to negative will need modificationI think you don't quite understand what offset is, usually higher positive offsets are the ones that look and fit like OEM wheels while lower to 0 to even negative offset are the ones that have wider lips and are harder to fit under your fender. So just think of the wheel cut in half, if two halves are perfectly equal, the offset is 0, meaning the distance from the back of the wheel to the mounting part is equal to the distance from the front of the wheel to the mounting part. And as you move the mounting surface closer to the face of the wheel, the offset goes positive, and negative if you move it further from the face of the wheel. So, with that in mind, a 0 offset wheel would definitely sit out further than a higher positive offset wheel which is why people with low offset wheels have to modify their fenders. I have +38 offset on my wheels which means it kinda looks and fits like the OEM wheels. Hopefully that actually made sense and it helped you out, kinda tired, just got home from work haha. Good luck though, picking your wheels is definitely one of the big steps you have to take on your own. At the end of the day, it's not the people from the internet that's going to be looking at your car everyday, it's you, and if you don't like it you'll just regret it. Just pick something that you like and live with the choice :thumbs up
oh I'll put limited edition jdm rotas lol,nah I wouldn't do that just keep them clean^^Agreed totally.
And about the real/fake wheel thing. Real wheels break too. If your going to get wheels like Rota/Drag/SportMaxx because of your budget then go ahead. Replica/knock off were meant to be affordable while still looking good. Just dont fake the funk. You get Rota slips or grids/ dont put EVO stickers or Volk stickers. That is just WACK.
