What's the best tranny to get?

Hey there I need to know if a 93 integra ls transmission will bolt up to a 90 integra ls engine
It will be going on a 93 integra ls chassis
I know alot of the parts are compatible 90-93 just not sure about this

Nice thread jack...Yes it will bolt up. You'll need to make sure you get the proper clutch kit as the shaft diameter is different in the 90-91 and 92-93 trans.

Split the case!

Do any of you guys know how to split the transmission case of a LS Integra?? I have all the bolts holding them together out and separated about an inch. I cannot tell if it is the input shaft holding everything together or something internal?! Trying to build one good tranns out of two with issues. On has a busted case and the other has bad gears (4th & 5th). Trying to get the back on the road, using it as a foul weather driver and grocery getter in San Diego area.
