Why do people put JDM parts on their teg?

Why do people put genuine JDM parts on their teg? Do you guys think it makes a teg look cleaner or better than oem? What are your thoughts?

I personally like my OEM 96 front end and would pay what some pay for a JDM ITR front end

They put genuine JDM parts on their cars because those other "JDM" parts are usually ricer garbage that's found in Pep Boys.

i like the ITR front, u dont see the swap much on the streets, i have lived in oklahoma for 9 years and have only seen 1 itr front teggy, so yea if i had a teg "JDM" is the way i would go bc for me i like the look and i like to be different

i think i like them for being qaulity and their is parts i like that are usdm and parts that look cleaner or funtcion better with jdm and usdm. but ya it comes down to personal preference i would say.
