Worldwide carbon fiber shortage?

So yesterday i call to order my carbon fiber mugen lip, and the guy tells me they dont have any in stock and the next shipment is in 2 weeks. I dont know if this is a selling technique but he proceds to tell me that it is because of a Worldwide shortage of carbon fiber lmfao. So to make a long story short he got me and i ordered it so "i would be one of the first to get them since they go so fast." f***in bastard i bet thats not even real lol.
