wtf smoke

so i just did an oil change on my car and was driving through town just fine got out of town on a country road opened it up a little and huge cloud of white smoke. now it wont stop smoking and there is oil on the dip stick, and when i hit second gear all i get is a huge continuous cloud of whiteness. any help please

if it is might as well upgrade internals, go higher compression pistons and new rods maybe.

Could possibly be headgasket. The white smoke is coolant burning. Check around the head for leaks and also do a compression test. If that fails, then go ahead and REBUILD her!!!

How much oil did you put in it?

It could just be overfilled and burning it off.

Or it could be the wrong weight and getting past the rings.

white smoke is water/coolant and it will smell sweet
blue smoke is oil
black smoke is fuel

white and smells like burning oil i used mobil 1 fully synthetic 5w-30 4.5 quarts. and wouldnt the oil before be milky if it were a head gasket?
